Before awnsering the question these were the questions that were supposed to be asked (this was supposed to be put up before the awnser, technical diffculties)
Candidates will evaluate their work electronically. This MUST contain an element of audience feedback and may be either integrated with the presentation of the research and planning material or may be presented separately. Where candidates have worked in a group, the evaluation may be presented individually or collectively but the teacher must allocate a mark according the contribution/level of understanding demonstrated by the individual candidate. The questions that must be addressed in the evaluation are:
TO BE INCLUDED BY STUDENTS: (1000 words)
• In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
• How does your media product represent particular social groups?
• What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
• Who would be the audience for your media product?
• How did you attract/address your audience?
• What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
• Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Media film evaluation.
My question and response in our group is:
Other companies like Facebook and Twitter. Facebook is one of the largest and most important social networking sites on the Internet today.Facebook has over 350 million active users. More than 35 million users update their status each day, with more than 55 million status updates each day. This results in videos, pictures and advisement's are shared and linked each day globally. Social networking sites are far better for spreading media platform's in general. All these World Wide Web sites have created a media platform in which Social Networking sites video sites You Tube,Vimeo etc all link together to share and spread awareness to mass audiences around the world resulting the best media distribution is online.
However some websites specify on downloading and 'streaming' of videos, this means that the advance in technology means that smart phones, tablets and new advances in gaming consoles means that media can be distributed by many institutions whether it being viewed on online or downloaded or 'streamed' this means that people can watch anytime videos and music on the go, and also be shared.
With our film opening we have attempted to achieve an age range above 16 (due to our actors) combined with the material in which chase scenes and guns are used this means that the kind of audiences that will watch our production is 'up too date' with technological advantages, and media platforms.
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?
Many media platforms have different ways of distributing a media product, one of those is the Internet. In which in the last 10 years the inventions of tablets, smart phone and websites made for media has shaped the way media is seen and heard to many variations of audiences. The push forward in technology has shaped the way how people and audiences see You Tube when, where etc.One of the largest most trending websites for video, music and other media is You Tube, You Tube has caught the attention of many people, as of February 2011, You Tube has 490 million unique users worldwide per month, who rack up an estimated 92 billion page views each month. Who spend around 2.9 billion hours on You Tube in a month — over 325,000 years in total. This results in staggering amounts of people will see and communicate globally about media products on this website. Whether it be advertising or simply "viral" videos.
The reason why You Tube does this is to rack up vast amounts of income. It does this by charging advertisements (at the beginning of videos, and on home pages/thumbnails) which spreads the word of many advertisements globally. You Tube's income reached over $700 million in 2009. This has caught the eye of even the prestige and persnickety companies.

2nd draft feedback.
"I think the typography was positioned very well however you should consider changing the font."
My role in our group was sound and a small part in typography. We debated as a group the many different positioned that could be used for our typography and colour etc. In our final edit we have made some alterations to the positioning. The overall thoughts on the typography is that we have achieved what was written down on the story board and is a basic view of our groups skills of editing
"I think the music suited it very well. However I think it should have been synced to the motion a little better." the chosen music for the film and the chase scene was Pendulum Encoder my part of our group was sound, this resulted by me choosing the song, i chose it because i thought it suited the fast paced chase scene. However now that we have done the first draft i would prefer to put more edits of sounds tracks in, this is only due to it only being one song and sounding basic. It will only give us the editing points if we were to put more in.

First draft feedback.
"lots of good shots in there!"
"Some great camera angles, and the sun really adds to the production values"
"I love your camera angles it looked so damn cool!!!"
"When its finished I think its gonna be really good!!!!"

Shot List
The primary shots we decided to use in our film opening included:
Panning Shot - Used when Jonny is being chased across a ledge, the camera is situated at a lower level moving with the action, emphasising the pace of the chase. This is also used when nearing the end of the film, with the camera panning around the victims head, showing his worried, panicked emotion.
Close-Up - A shoe of each actor is shown closely as they run past, emphasising who was chasing who and increasing the tension as these short clips are transitioned with a black screen with the sound of someone panting.
Still - This was probably our most commonly used shot. The actor(s) would run past the camera, giving the audience a chance to establish characters clothes etc. This shot is also used towards the end of the film opening when the victim is at gunpoint, we feel this shot was necessary as it shows the victims vulnerability and the attackers dominance. This shot was most effectively used when we incorporated the sunset into the shot. The sun coming through the railings allowed us to show the actors as silhouettes, which would only be possible with a still.
P.O.V. - This was only used once and we are unsure whether or not to use it in the final draft. This was used from the point of view of a chaser, showing him running down a flight of steps. This shot was very unsteady and the light intensity was poor, however, it gave an alternative view and emphasised the pace.
Zoom Out - Whilst running across a bridge, the cameraman stood at the end waiting, as they approached the camera zoomed out with them, they ran past the camera showing the intensity of the run.
Extreme Close Up - Used when iPod is being plugged in and on the gun near the end. Showing the gun close up emphasises the importance of the weapon.
Pan-Up - The final shot used, as the victim leaves the house the camera pans up into the cloudy, white sky, locating an ideal spot for the title Full Time to appear.

Sound tracks for film so far.
http://www.audionetwork.com/production-music/musical-styles/musical-styles/dubstep/results.aspx
This is a good canditate for the sound due to it being very high action and intensity. It begins with hardly any loud or intresting sounds which would be good in the begining as it will very quite and just in the background. It will be good to make this linked into the intro becuase its not very loud but it dosent make the intro boring and dragg on with the supposed beging with just pure breathing and titles. (not finished needs editing)

Typography
Below are possible fonts for our film opening, which we have decided to call "Full Time". I have decided to choose fonts that do not have curls on each letter, signifying the action packed theme of our piece, also connoting how it won't be pretty. Our target audience is men, therefore I believe they'd be more attracted to a blunter font.

Opening Film Analysis- Black Sheep Movie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gEDUDmZkyc
In the fisrt scene of this clip we see that it has been set in the rural areas, say Welsh sheep farms or New Zealand lamb this immediatly gives thee audience a clue to what is to come. Then the audience finds some more infomation from the tiltles in slighty jokey or uniformail way. After this we discover what seems to be the main actors and what they have as a role. For exapmlple the first character to see looks to be far away from the other charcter (physial distance wise) maybe becuse of emotions that will later be uncoverd or maybe general issues that the audience will link with later on. On the next scene a non diagetic sound has then been added to shwo mystical or a horror theme sound. Futhermore to go onto the next scene the audience experinces flashes suggesting a flash back or memory. The non diagetic sounds add to the clip to make it work better with the images.

Opening Scene Analysis- I Am Legend Trailer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWAcPMikdg8
The opening to this is urban abounded New York City. In which the audience can immediately tell that it has somehow been evacuated and destroyed by time. In this first opening scene its all CGI (computer generated imagery) and depicts a story already to the audience by he way cars have been generated to look like and evacuation and time has stood still. This has been used to draw the audience in and leave them on a cliff hanger. In all of these shots they're all extreme wide angled shots to show the true extent of the situation. Up to 30 seconds of this clip are just showing the damage and abounded situation the worlds most famous city has become for a unknown reason. After these shots the camera picks up the only living movement in the city, before we even see the car we here the no diagetic sound of the cars roar. The camera the zooms into to a tracking car being the only living thing in the city (predictions by the audience). When on the next shot its a zoom in again but the camera is shaking due to the car showing the power and authority this one lone man has in the abandoned city. On the mise en scene in the next shot its almost like a figure of speech when the rebel car drives past the old crippled police station and cars.

Well edited clip from Top Gear.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4CPBfpnye0
I have chosen this clip from BBC's Top Gear becuase of several reasons. Firstly one reason why I prefer this type of cinematypography because the use of different camera shots, for example they do extreme close up of the gear stick almost showing that typicality's manliness of changing gears aggressively. Also the tracking cars that follow the main car even that camera used has been purposely made shaky and blurry to exaggerate the pace and excitement of this car. Another use of editing is when it changed of showing the stop motion look of the car to going into details like the engine cover and wheels, they've done this just becuse its anotjher use of swaping scenes. Also when they have the camera on the floor having the car coming and going away exaggerates the pace and danger of this. All along this clip small sections of deatail pop up showing the audience little extras of the car.Futhermore the synthetics of this have been editied fore example on the gowing and coming shot of the car the enhancement of the camera has been edited to make it look darker and blurry for speed. Also they put a dark blur around the frame for the same reasons.

How sound is used in the Hurt Locker movie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olqazyLnm70
In this first scene the audio that the audience hear is the sound of a middle eastern call to pray this immediately gives the audience were it is set and the location. The next audio that we can he is the non diagetic sound of a heart beat which gives the audience and creates tension and atmosphere. In this same scene we can here the controlls of the robot bomb disposer being clicked and used this is also used to create tension and to make the audience feel involved. Also with this we can hear the sounds that the robot makes to again feel involved. In the next scene we can hear the male actor speaking for the first time, with this we know that this character is nervous and tense this is because they way he slowly and cautiously talks. When the next two characters are talking its sound has been used to patriotically emphasise the America Royal Marines in which when they pat each other it is loud and exaggerated to show there "macho" presence".
